This Week in Books is a weekly round-up hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?
THEN: I finished Beautiful Boy by David Sheff. This wasn't an easy read, but I'm glad I read it. Sheff tells the story of his relationship with his son, Nic, who became addicted to meth. It's a moving, frustrating story and one I'd certainly recommend anyone to read. You can find my review here.
NOW: On a bit of a non-fiction kick, I'm reading Endurance by Alfred Lansing. This isn't something I would usually go for, but I'd had a copy for years and for some reason, decided to give it a try. I'm very happy I dd, too! It's very engaging and a truly fascinating story. Review to come!
NEXT: I think I'll read The Chain by Adrian McKinty next. I got my hands on an ARC and am excited to start. It's a standalone by the author of the clever Sean Duffy series and I've been hearing great things, so fingers crossed it lives up to the hype!
