This Week in Books
Happy New Year! Hope you have a good start into 2019, with health, happiness and lots of good books:-)
This Week in Books is a weekly meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. How are you beginning you new reading year?
THEN: I finished Colette McBeth's An Act of Silence. I've read two of her previous books, which I enjoyed, and this was quite good, too, if a little muddled to begin with. You can find my full review here.
NOW: Currently, I am reading The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. I heard a lot of buzz abut this one, and so far, I would say it's warranted. I'm about half-way through and the story is really starting to suck me in. Stay tuned for a review:-)
NEXT: I think I will read Walking the Americas by Levison Wood next, but to be honest, by the time I finish The Silent Patient, I might have changed my mind... I'm such a mood-based reader, roving around from one genre to the next. Crime fiction is a perennial favorite, but I've read Wood's previous books and always enjoyed them, so I might be in the mood for a bit of armchair adventuring.
