This Week in Books
This Week in Books is a weekly meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?
THEN: I finished The Other Woman by Daniel Silva. It is the 18th book in the Gabriel Allon series, and I have to say, it wasn't my favorite. It felt to me very slow and fairly predictable, though most readers and reviewers seem to love it.
NOW: Currently, I am reading The Day of the Dead, the final book in the Frieda Klein series by Nicci French. So far, it is very gripping (if, at times, a little implausible) and I am very curious how the story will wrap up.
NEXT: I've had a copy of Louise Candlish's new book, Our House for a while, and I plan to read it next. I really enjoyed her book The Sudden Departure of the Frasers, then didn't like two others, so i am eager to see how this one is. Have you read it or any of her books?
