This Week in Books is a fun meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?
THEN: I finished reading Forget Her Name by Jane Holland, and I am sorry to say, it was a one-star read for me. I won't go into the details of what bothered me about this book now, but if you are interested, you can find my review here.
NOW: I am currently reading Jess Kidd's Mr. Flood's Last Resort (also published as The Hoarder). I am enjoying the language and characters, but the story is moving rather slowly. Still, I will stick with it and see what happens. I abandoned a few books recently (I wish I had abandoned the Forget Her Name above), because I just knew I wouldn't get pleasure of entertainment out of them if I continued, still I hate to do it;-)
NEXT: I just got a copy of Stephanie Garber's Legendary (the sequel to last year's hit, Caraval). I enjoyed, though didn't love Caraval, but I am curious to see how the story continues, largely because Garber is quite good at world building. Have you read it, what did you think?
