This Week in Books
This Week in Books is a fun meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?
THEN: I finished The Surrogate by Louise Jensen. It was my second book by the author, and though it was an easy read and fairly engaging, I felt there was a little too much coincidence and it simply strained credulity toward the end. Have you read it? What did you think?
NOW: I am currently reading Two Girls Down by Louisa Luna. I got my copy a few months ago as my Book of the Month, but had forgotten about it until a few days ago. It starts off strong, and I especially like the detective, Cap. The mystery is very scary, two little girls going missing, and I am so curious how it will all be explained!
NEXT: Our Kind of Cruelty by Araminta Hall is next up on my to-read list. I got a copy from Netgalley and have heard a lot about it, so I am curious to see how it measures up to the hype.
