“Be awesome! Be a book nut!” ― Dr. Seuss
It's time for Link Love again, where I share some of my favorite bookish articles from the past week. Hope you enjoy!
First we have an interview on NPR about some of the exciting new and upcoming page-to-screen adaptations. I am especially curious about the handling of Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan Novels. They were among my favorites last year, and I am a bit protective of them...
Next, I came across this heartening article in The New York Times, which highlights libraries providing free meals for children in the summer. “For kids to be well-read, they need to be well-fed.”
PBS announced their intention to unveil America's favorite books in a new TV series coming to us next summer. I am very curious what they will choose. What are some of your favorite American books?
On Bookbub, I found a list of historical novels, and as this is one of my favorite genres and you will by now know I love a list, I had to include it:-)
And finally, I couldn't end this post without a contribution from The Guardian. This week they look at some of the real buildings behind some of fiction's best-known houses.
