This Week in Books
This Week in Books is a fun meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?
THEN: I finished Sunday Morning Coming Down by Nicci French. This was the seventh and (I think) final book in the Frieda Klein series and though some of the books were a little dissatisfying, I really liked this one! If you are a fan of Tana French, Claire Mackintosh, Elizabeth Haynes or Sophie McKenzie, I think you would enjoy this series!
NOW: I started reading Swimming at Night by Lucy Clarke this morning and am finding it difficult to put down. This is my first book by Clarke, but if it continues this way, it won't be my last either. Have you read any of her books?
NEXT: I almost feel this needs a drum-roll introduction, because there has been so much hype around Fiona Barton's second book after The Widow. I know I am in the minority when I confess I didn't LOVE The Widow, but I have heard The Child is really griping, so fingers crossed!
By the way, Goodreads is currently hosting a giveaway for this book, so you can try your luck here.
What are you reading this week?
