This Week in Books
This Week in Books is a fun meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. In this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. What are you reading these days?
THEN: Yesterday, I finished The Silent Wife by Kerry Fisher. I enjoy a good domestic drama à la Lisa Jewell or Liane Moriarty, and this one fit the bill. The story starts a little slow, but abut a quarter of the way through, I was finding it hard to put down. I will definitely read books by this author again! Any recommendations?
NOW: Holidaying in Croatia, I really wanted a fast-paced, easy but absorbing read, so I picked up this one. I have not read Harlan Coben in a while, because I felt they were getting a bit formulaic, but I am finding Fool Me Once to be entertaining and exactly what I was looking for on my holiday.
NEXT: Next I plan to read Mark Edwards' The Lucky Ones. I have read a few of his books, and they are usually quite gripping, so I look forward to this latest one, which had great reviews! Have you read it?
