This Week in Books
This Week in Books is hosted by Lipsy Lost and Found and is on this blog for the first time! n this post I look back on a book I've finished, highlight one I am currently reading, and one I will read in the near future. I was planning on reading the unread books already on my shelves in 2017, or from Netgalley, but I failed in week one and got a new pile from the library...oops!
I'm reading The Gift by Louise Jensen at the moment. I was in the mood for a good psychological thriller, and she delivered in her first book, The Sister, so I was thrilled this one was getting such good reviews from like-minded Goodreads pals. So far so good. Not the fastest paced mystery, but definitely engaging.
Just finished reading All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, and I'm not ready to talk about it yet. The reviews were accurate, I'll say that much. Crushing little beauty...
People are raving about Jeff Zentner's The Serpent King, and wouldn't you know it, the library just sent me a message that it was ready for pick up. Looking forward to this one, even though it isn't what I'd typically go for.
