Mini Review: Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger
Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger
I don't know why it took me so long to read this, but it was worth the hype! Krueger has a wonderful talent for creating characters and I was invested in the story from start to finish. I am usually a little skeptical about books being told through the eyes of a child, but it is done so well in this case (as is also true for one of my all-time favorites The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay, which I am perpetually trying to force on people;-) I'm excited to read the author's latest novel This Tender Land soon! I imagine the author felt quite a bit of pressure for it to live up to the standards set by Ordinary Grace, but I've heard it's great in its own right.
